Air and surface ecological disinfection with ozone
Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause diseases ranging from the common cold to more serious diseases, such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). A new coronavirus (nCoV) is a new strain that has not been previously identified in humans. 
SARS-Cov-2 or COVID-19 is the most recently discovered infectious disease caused by the coronavirus. This new virus and disease was unknown before the outbreak began in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. 
In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus beyond the act of washing hands, it will also be prudent to disinfect the spaces we usually use, such as our homes, workplaces, etc.
Ozone is a powerful oxidizer that eliminates microorganisms effectively. Ozone applications in water and wastewater treatments are well documented and widely used.
Although studies on the use of ozone to disinfect air are relatively limited, experimental results (2,3) indicate that ozone can also be an effective disinfectant in air, as in water. For example, Kowalski et al (2) investigated the bactericidal effects of high concentrations of ozone in E. coli and S. aureus and concluded that more than 99.99% mortality was achieved for both species after ozonation. In addition to the strong oxidizing power of ozone, the properties of ozone also help it to be an ideal aerial disinfectant. Unlike UV radiation and the HEPA filter, ozone is a gas that can penetrate all corners of the room and therefore can effectively disinfect the entire room. As ozone is unstable, it is readily converted to oxygen, leaving no harmful residual ozone after disinfection. 
Given the advantages of strong oxidizing power, good penetration capacity and absence of harmful residues after treatment, the use of ozone in the disinfection of SARS contaminated environments is recommended. 
As the structure of the new coronavirus COVID-19 is almost identical to that of the coronavirus SARS, it can be confidently inferred that it will also work on the new coronavirus with the exception that there are no studies to date.
The ozonation system is the best ally for these types of situations, its production does not require reagents, it can be installed in one place and operate 24/7 or used alternately for a few minutes in different rooms.
Its installation is very easy, it consists simply of placing the ozone generator in the room to be treated and let the equipment run for the defined time.
Ozone propagation reaches everywhere, floor, walls, ceilings, tables, computers, etc.
In addition to disinfection, ozone application allows:
- the elimination of bad odors (tobacco, alcohol, fried foods, perfume, etc.);
